Variations in the text on the right side of the labels do not indicate differences in fitment, flow capacity, or calibration for the Mitsubishi 618-generation MAF. Instead, they represent manufacturing production tracking data used by Mitsubishi Electric Corp.
The differences break down as follows:
1. Production Date Code (The 4-character string)
First Label (4120): This is a standard numeric date code format.
4 = 1994 (The year of manufacture).
1 = January (The month of manufacture, where 1–9 = Jan–Sept, X/10 = Oct, Y/11 = Nov, Z/12 = Dec).
20 = The day of the month.
Meaning: This sensor was manufactured on January 20, 1994.
