Doing a 60k service? Are your OEM timing cover seals looking a little crusty? Starting to fall off into the timing belt area? Replace that old stuff with viton synthetic rubber and keep dirt and dust away from the timing belt. Viton has high temperature rating and excellent oil resistance. Because of this, viton is a fair bit more expensive. However it will LAST, and that's what's important!
Install Notes:
We will send a roll long enough to replace all three covers, and recommend to cut sections with Cresent brand miniature shear cutters. Before installation, clean the timing covers with quick detailer only. Fold a paper towel to dry the groove. Make sure to remove any old OEM seals that are still stuck to the engine.
