The OEM and Aftermarket Carrier for the driveshaft are made out of very soft rubber to eliminate all of the noise and vibrations that are coming from the driveshaft. While this is good for unmodified cars that are driven every day, it is not optimal for modified cars. Soft hollow rubber can't hold the driveshaft in place, causing a lot of unnecessary vibrations, clunking sounds, stress on the U-Joints and loss of horsepower. Another minus of the OEM and Aftermarket Carrier Bearings is that the hollow rubber can often sag and cause the driveshaft to rotate out of its optimal center, putting even more stress on the U-Joints and causing excessive vibrations at higher speeds. This is leading to your driveshaft going out of balance. On top of that the OEM and Aftermarket Carriers are not rebuildable, you have to buy a brand new one.
The Euro 3S Performance design eliminates all of this and it is completely rebuildable! It is made out of 6061 T-6 Aluminum anodized in Black, Purple, Red or Blue, depending on your choice! This anodizing will keep the Aluminum safe from atmospheric conditions and the rubber we use will keep your drive shaft centered even when you push it to the maximum.
There are 2 options for the rubber inserts - Street (to keep vibrations and noise to a minimum*) and Race (for maximum performance). Those inserts are easy to change, so if you decide to take both, you will have a Street option for everyday driving and a Race option if you want go to the track! The "Street" rubbers are Black and the "Race" rubbers are Red so you can easily distinguish them.
Euro 3S Performance designed this kit to work with the OEM spacers which are there for a reason! Other similar kits that are sold as universal, are designed to remove those spacers which will alter the driveshaft angle! *It is possible to experience a slight increase in NVH at certain speeds, due to the rubber being solid, however, if your driveshaft is balanced and everything is operating as it should, the increase should be barely noticeable.
